Tomorrow is the big day!!!
Well this one has to be brief as most riders are now fully into frenzy mode, packing bags, sorting through their riding kit and organising transport and logistics.
Flew into Sydney last night and drove up the coast to stay at Kevin’s place on the beach in the hope we’d get out this morning for a casual beach roll to breakfast and relax to get our heads in the right place.
Unfortunately the weather is not being kind and it looks to be a very wet start to the Tour, no ride this morning as the rain has set in and is constant.
However I’m told that overcoming the adversities such as this is only more reason for sense of achievement and its the events like this that create the most memories.
I’m grateful to be around such great people like Kevin and Gavin Hardy, they provide lots of laughs and insights into tour at the final hour.
Dinner tonight and registration, so off now to have a quick shower and head to the Mecure Hotel.
Excited with Trepidation I think best describes it 🙂
