Training group

Welcome to my Westpac Tour 200 Tour De Cure Blog which talks about some of my trials and tribulations that I’ve learned ‘Along the Way’ and I tell you ‘About Me’ and why I am doing this ridiculous 300km ride when prior to Christmas in 2016 I hadn’t ridden a bike since I was about 10 years old!

So why do the Tour De Cure?  I don’t think I could get any further from my comfort zone than cycling but the pain that I’ll feel is nothing compared to those who have/are battling cancer and I’m sick and tired of this dreaded disease called cancer taking away people who I love.  So I’m riding to find a cure for cancer, come join me for the ride……..

The Westpac 200 Tour De Cure 3 day ride is as follows:
Day 1: 95km 1265m Sydney to Bowral
Day 2: 106km 928m Bowral to Wollongong
Day 3: 105km 921m Wollongong to Sydney

Check out ‘Along the Way’ to read about some of the things I’ve learnt along the way in this adventure……
