My wife Kathy contracted Breast cancer in 2008. From then on we started the fight of our lives. I got involved in Tour de Cure though one of Kathy’s clients Paul Egan who started riding as a result of Kathy’s battle. In August 2010 we got the all clear for the Breast cancer but it wasnt finished because 6 months later Kathy was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. After a brave battle with the lung cancer Kathry passed away on the 8th of March 2012.

We all still think of Kathy all the time and this is my way of contributing to the fight to find a cure so that Kathy’s death wont be forgotten.

I am currently working in Gladstone at the Curtis Island LNG plant where I work for Theiss Services / Remondis.

I am looking forward to helping all the Tour de Cure riders on thier journey and to raising some money towards finding a cure for Cancer.
