Some media coverage!
We sent stories around the place to gain some exposure, hopefully generate more donation $$ and create awareness for TdC and Cancer charity. I have been lucky enough to be featured in two print newspapers and also on the electronic newsletter for Baileys school.
The Huon News in Tasmania was my local paper when I was a kid (and I even had a paper round in my suburb, which of course I completed on my bike (dragster)) So it was great for Mum and Dads submission to that paper to received the full back page and lengthy story
In addition to this I sent a summary to the Samford Village Pump, which also accepted the story and printed it on the front page which has kinda made me a bit identifiable it seems around the village as I now get conversations started up at the Soccer grounds/supermarket/school with people telling me I’m now stuck to the front of their fridge at home 🙂
I do have some donations coming from people I don’t recognise so I can only assume the media is helping
