Where has the time gone ?
Since applying to join the Tour de Cure Signature ride back in August 2013 and subsequently being accepted as part of the team, has been an amazing journey since my operation. The training for the ride and fundraising has been a motivating factor in my recovery and I truly thank all my family and friends and all the Woolworths stores and store teams on the Sunshine Coast for their support. Since the beginning of the year I have ridden over 3800km which included 38000 metres of elevation gain. In just 4 days time we will set off on this epic journey from Sydney and complete 1600km / 10 days / 19000m elevation.
So far I have reached my fundraising target of $12000 and I am close to my goal of $15000. As of this morning you have helped me raise $14237 for cancer research, support and prevention. Thank you sincerely to every one that has donated to this wonderful cause.
