DAY 2- Victor Harbour to Meningie

Victor Harbour sure did put on a show.

What a beautiful place. We rolled in to see tents and a jumping castle etc for the kids from “camp quality”. I had a great time chatting with some families. The kids (and dads) were fascinated with my bike. They loved lifting it so see how light it is.

It was warm and sunny and stunning.

A quiet beer went down VERY well before dinner.

The ride today was WINDY. Hard work in the gusty head and cross winds in the morning to Strathalbyn. I managed to break a spoke on the way in to morning tea so am now riding on a Zipp. Nice!!!!!

From then on the wind was behind us. It was fast and flat. We had a reasonably easy and very pleasant ride into Meningie where the locals gave us fantastically warm welcome.
