Cancer doesn’t discriminate

Caught up with a colleague I hadn’t seen for some time today. In conversation she shared that she had just completed chemotherapy & would get her final results in 2 weeks, about the time we head of on tour. I had no idea she had cancer & hadn’t noticed the symptoms that were so obvious to her. She has since shared more of her story & what it was like to have treatment & continue to work. Her story I will take with me on my ride & most importantly the necessity for us to have our regular checks & recognise changed in our own bodies. Cancer doesn’t discriminate, we can all get it, what we can do is minimise the risk. Have since had my tests.
