Fundraising event held at Officeworks
Last weekend, I, with the help of Peta Behm and some friends gave up a day to cook sausages & kebabs out the front of Officeworks at Windsor on Brisbane’s Northside.
Cold drinks and chocolates were also on offer, and the store generates good foot traffic on a Sunday with opportunity to sell our wares.
My two sons (6 and 4yrs) were in tow and spruiking the sales through witches hats they’d found in the carpark.
By the end of the day we had raised $190 for our efforts and have quite a large bulk of product left for another go later in the month. Great to tip some funds into the coffers, but we are going to need to think bigger still as the date draws imminently closer and I am only 1/3rd of the way there to my minimum funding requirement.
