Here we go again!
So here I go again – Tour number 4!
I have signed up once again to ride the Signature Tour at the end of March. This will be a whole new adventure riding from Sydney to Hobart. And yes, before you ask, we are going over water! Any suggestions on how I should cross the Bass Strait?
This will be an epic ride. The scoop from those in the know is that there will be plenty of hills during the 1,600 kilometre journey south.
The training is going really well, and it feels awesome to be out on the bike. I managed to cycle over 1,400 kilometres in December, so the legs were feeling a tad weary. Had some fun with the silly season too! 
I will be having 2 weeks off during January for a family holiday in Penang. Suffice to say I will be utilising the gym at the hotel to make sure my fitness level does not drop off to much.
February the fun really begins. I will be training hard and must give the fundraising a big nudge, cause at the moment there is nothing happening on this front. I managed to raise over $30,000 last year – it was a cracker. Hopefully I can back this up, and the great support from previous years will continue. Once again I will be getting support from Garden City Shopping Centre who will match dollar for dollar any donations raised during static rides that we run in the shopping centre.
It is great news that this year there will be four riders from Perth. This certainly helps to keep the training focused, and we can bounce ideas off each other and assist in fund raising efforts.
I am very much looking forward to being involved with Tour De Cure Australia again. Let the fun begin!
