New Bike
I have been waiting for my new bike since July 2012, now those who know me well understand that patience is not my thing. So I had to compromise on the colour scheme to get a bike this year and so it was decided that the new S Works tarmac would be in quickstep team colours!! Initially this bothered me, that was until I took it out for its maiden voyage. To say it was a step up on the “old girl” would be like saying Tom Boonen is just a “good” bike rider!! Let me put it this way, the colour scheme no longer bothers me. So with some renewed enthusiasm and the new bike I have been riding up a storm and even beat a few guys to the top of the climb on Saturdays ride, I think that’s a first, must be the bike!
