Ready, Set Go…
Well I’m nearly ready to set off to Adelaide, the bike is half packed the bag is sort of done and the mind and body are also very ready for the challenge ahead. In the last 4 or 5 months I have trained well looked after my body, which is unusual for me!!
I now look forward to the next 2 weeks with great anticipation, meeting the rest of the team and getting underway. There will be a lot of new experiences which is very exciting and many opportunities to raise more money in awareness of the Tour De Cure. I’m sure I’ve mentioned this many times before, I’ll say it again, Tour De Cure appeals to me for many reasons. I have really enjoyed all aspects of the charity so far.
I’m sure that after the next two weeks I’ll come away with many more reasons to be glad that I signed up for this challenge. I am very proud of the support and donations that I received to date and I look forward to helping spread the word whilst on tour.
