Highs and Lows
I was all excited on Tuesday, first ride of the training program for Tour De Cure, new bike, new wheels ordered, things were falling into place.
And then the lows.
Got home checked emails. My new pride and joy has had a Recall on the fork!!! No real drama just needs to be sent away for a check and replacement if necessary, should only take a week!! What will I ride in the mean time… I still have my old bike, then the realisation that my old bike is still in pieces and is missing a shifter. Very low point!!!
The long and the short of it all is that hopefully my old Bike is being re-assembled as I type including the shifter, I’ve only missed a couple of rides this week and my new bike should be ready in a week or two!!Lets hope!!!!
So I will re-aquaint myself with my old bike and mould myself to the saddle, get out for some extra Km’s this weekend and back on track.
