Hi All,
I just wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported me during my Tour de Cure ride from Adelaide to Canberra recently.
I have been able to take some time to reflect on what was an incredibly inspiring and emotional 10 days on the bike.
There were so many highlights along the way, including hearing from the brave people who shared their courageous stories of battling cancer.
Seeing Tour De Cure present $5000 donations to 10 different community organisations helping in the fight against cancer showed that we are really making a difference.
The impact was further strengthened by speaking with about 5000 students from many regional primary schools with the cancer prevention message of leading a healthy, fit and happy lifestyle.
Your donation to my fundraising efforts was really appreciated and has gone to an amazing cause. I was able to raise more than $17,000 and all up the 2013 Signature Tour raised $1.75 million!
