Last long ride before Adelaide…
Seacliff Bridge from the top of Bald Hill looks a whole lot better on the way back than on the way out ! It was lovely to get out & not get wet … not get wet from above or from the road … we’re certainly spoilt being able to train through the Royal National Park
Last long ride before heading off to Adelaide … to become engulfed by the Tour De Cure “bubble” & enjoy the kids & the communities across 3 states & 1 territory over 10 days
Thinking about the bombings at the Boston Marathon … it makes you appreciate Australia even more. We’re fortunate to be largely isolated from such senseless acts of evil. The flip side of that coin is the heroism, bravery & goodwill of the emergency services, the runners & the spectators displayed in the aftermath.
Perspective. Such tragedy may prompt us to look at what is really important … what is truly important in our lives, & perhaps review what we do or how or why we do it. To take nothing for granted & make the most of every day.
Strive to make a difference … that’s why I’m riding with Tour De Cure. To hopefully make a difference to those whose lives have been affected by cancer.
Only a couple more sleeps & we’re on the road.
THANKS again for your support
Cheers … Owen
