Here we go again …

Training for Sydney to Hobart is in full swing now that the excesses of the Festive Season have finished … well nearly !

Andrew & I ventured north to share the beautiful 4 Gorges with a few of the TDC family last Sunday. Rolled along the Highway up to Bobbin Head Rd, then thru Bobbo, onto Galston & to Berowra across the water on the punt then return up Bobbo & Pacific Highway to Maiseys coffee shop.

Perfect weather, wonderful scenery & fantastic company … how lucky are we !

Certainly a change from the week before … ploughing into the wind across Seacliff Bridge in my easiest gear doing a little over 10 km/h !

The response to the Channel 7 2013 TDC Signature Tour special show on New Years Day has been amazing … the awareness seemed to have reached a whole new level.

I’ve been overwhelmed by the support & encouragement of family & friends as well as “randoms” that I’ve met on the road training … many commenting they were watching with tears rolling down their face.

Since 2007 Tour de Cure has raised more than $10 million to fund 137 research, support and prevention projects for men, women & children as well as delivering the “Be Fit – Be Healthy – Be Happy” message to thousands of primary school kids.

I feel privileged to be part of something very, very special.

We couldn’t do all this without your support … THANKS again.
