More than I realized

The saying that ‘the more you put into something, the more you get out’ has never been more true. Having emotionally started this Tour de Cure journey last year whilst Dad was still with us, Mum and I are now fortunate enough to be experiencing this first hand.

For me it’s been about the people we’ve met both on and off the bike during these first few days. So many have had similar losses to us and far too many have suffered the loss of a child to cancer.

What’s been amazing is the positivity in the group and the communities we’ve visited to do something about this. There’s a genuine belief and demonstrable proof that we can beat this disease that we’ve seen through the research we’ve helped fund.

Three days in, 400kms covered and some awesome memories already!
