Great week last week
Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 3 Back to back rides. Each different – and rode over 205km over the 3 days.
Felt great after the ride on Sunday, but totally stuffed.
Saturday, I needed to be home early (moving house stuff), so did the Warriewood loop solo. Saw the crew on their way north when I was heading home at around Manly. Interesting fact about the 2 rides I did Friday/Saturday – there was only about a 1km different in average speed (slower) going solo than in the pack.
Sunday was a great ride. First up Bobbo at for the last climb, and did the whole thing in the big chainring. Definitely a couple of painful parts to the ride – but all in all a really enjoyable morning. Seeing Tony Abbott out on the bike was an added bonus.
The coming week will be a little lighter – bit of a recovery week (travelling on Wed) and away for the weekend.
