Yep, that’s possum fur
You wouldn’t believe it. There we were riding up the hill out of Taronga Zoo at 5.45am this morning. About 6 of us in a line, and this fur ball runs across the road and starts doing summersaults right in front of us. Next thing I knew, it (a possum I assume) runs directly into the side of my back wheel.
No harm done, to me anyway. Just a bit of a shake through the bike, but no idea what happened to the little bugger. It probably ended up scared shitless and with one hell of a headache.
Evidence of the collision was still stuck to my bike when I’d stopped for coffee – see the fluff in the picture above.
