Day 7 | Cairns to Cape Tribulation | 141kms

Apologies for the late Blog. Cape Tribulation is a beautiful part of the world but also a little remote. We had no phone connection at all!! Not sure how we made it through!!

So the ride, we rode from Cairns to Cape Tribulation. We were uplifted by the fantastic Greyhound Bus team to Mount Molloy to start the ride to ensure we were in to Cape Tribulation before dark. Quite a few rolling hills before we descended off the tablelands and down to the Daintree River. We had lunch by the river before crossing the car ferry to continue our journey north. A tough climb over the Alexander Range awaited us across the ferry before we descended down to see level ground again. We rode through the most spectacular rainforest I have ever seen. It was incredible. The team in our lead car took some great photos of us which I’ve attached. It was just amazing.

We finished at PK’s Jungle Village. A beautiful spot in amongst the rainforest. We stayed at the beach house a few kms up the road. Very basic cabins but we made it work….and with zero contact with the outside world.

Here’s a few pics from our awesome day.
