Day 5 Signature Tour
Corryong to Wangaratta 184km 2245m climbing over 6 hours 56 minutes.
Surprise, surprise – today was another awesome day on the bike. I really do love to ride, and I love Tour de Cure, so we are a match made in heaven really!! 
Today was a day with some varied terrain and still plenty of climbing and undulations. The roll into Wangaratta at the end of the day was long and flat so we got up some good speed heading into our final destination. The whole group is separated into 10 different teams and these are shuffled around each day in terms of who you ride with, and who you do chores with. You build up quite a nice rapport with your team mates. The friendships you make on Tour are very special and we share something that you just cannot get unless you are in it.

Tomorrow is a big one in terms of lots of distance – my longest ride ever at 204km (and there is also lots of hills, again!!). I am excited to be heading into places where I spent much of my chilhood. Hoping for kind weather – mild day and a tail wind.
