Week 11 of 24 Training and Fundraising Update

Hopefully everybody enjoyed a Merry Xmas and ate beyond their limits, I know I did.

The festive season gave me a couple of extra rest days from riding, and due to some softness Sunday, an extra indoor session as I decided to avoid the strong winds Sunday morning.  A total of 282km for the week, including the longest ride in my training to date, a 135km ride to Wollongong and back through the National Park. Being on holidays has allowed me to ride a bit later in the morning which has now lead to a cyclists tan. The family are suggesting I need to do something to even it out , but I won’t be going for any of the fake stuff 🙂

A quite week for donations with the festive season taking priority, although a number of commitments for donations from friends and family.

The next week will be the last of my base building phase and includes my first training ride with the Tour De Cure family on Sunday.
