Day 6 I didn’t think I would make it

I struggled from the start today. Not much sleep and no sleep in’s so really feeling the emotions of missing my little cherubs. The little hugs and kisses and not being there for them. I tried to get in sunrise so they could see me. So. Few tears along the road. It doesn’t helping being a girl and not on my game at the time of the month. But determined to make it and push through the pain and agony as I know it’s nothing from what others have to deal with every day. The emotions of loosing a child or person in their life. Caring for family going through cancer or dealing with any illness Can be worse than I felt today and everyday.
So it’s nothing really, and I want to make sure I fulfil my duties as rider to my supporters.
The fact my big brother is here to ride guest stage is amazing! It certainly helps. But not only that the support by our fearless leaders and back support it amazing! You couldn’t ask for more. Watching me the whole day just to make sure I was safe and at it. One team member even gave me their vest and in doing that fainted. That showed the true dedication to make sure everyone was ok! I have so much passion for the people and goals of Tour de Cure. It is so much a pleasure to be part of the amazing family.

I won’t forget the kids, that are so supa excited and help us get through these days. It is such a pleasure to see them learn the be fit happy and healthy message. One young girl broke my heart when she thanked us for what we are doing today. Started the tears for the day for sure. Below is the picture.

Gavin lead and Beretta pushed me up the 2nd &3rd climbs in the afternoon. It certainly helped.
I am so tired and have a very early start in the morning.
