Tour is Tough

Tour is tough and I could say everyone struggles at one way or another. We are here for one purpose and one goal which is a cancer free world. Sleep is little, buts are sore legs are tired….. Don’t get me wrong we want to be here but as you know pushing the body to it’s limits are another thing, It feels like we ride all day. We stop for a it to eat and then ride some more. 815km and only day 6 and nearly 10,000 meters of climbing…. What can I say. I have had emotional days and days I feel like I can concur the world. It is the rollercoaster ride that a sick person goes through when they are told they have cancer. It’s a journey of beating this and so much more. So tears and laughter, joy and sadness, fear and confidence we are riding up and down those hills and experiencing so many things in 10 days. I have chatted to Sam and his sister May and parents talking about having an amazing supportive community and how lucky we are to have this in the smaller towns. Bowen is a very inspiring and giving town and I am proud to ride to represent the town and morals of the people. We have a beautiful town so thank you Bowen for being so giving caring and helping other people.

I couldn’t do this without your support and know we can make a difference,

Let’s educate everyone to Be Fit, Be Healthy & Be Happy – The kids love us. The highlight of tour is visiting the schools and talking to the kids. They are just so excited.

Just to let you know I am going well, facing a few demons of the past but you need to face them so you can grow and become a better version of yourself. I want to set an example and be a role model for my kids. I want them to help others in the ways that they feel is good.

Let’s do this 5 days to go…..

Thanks for your support in every way

I love you all

Nomes.
