More treatment

Doing some more riding means that my injury needs some attention, thats where Ben comes in from Results Physio. A bit of ultrasound and massage and a few exercises keeps me going for the next week or so before I need to go back and get some more maintenance done !! Hopefully soon I wont need to get any more work done as it will have repaired itself.

Good luck signs

Yesterday I saw 2 coins on the road and I picked them both up. I think that they are a good luck sign. I am taking that good luck as a sign that I am meant to …Read more

Positive signs

Well I went for a second ride today and did another 60km. The injury doesn’t seem to worry me on the bike.  It seems to be feeling better and better each day so happy with that I think being nearly 95 kg’s is the thing that is holding me back. No time to lose, diets started !!

Finally on the bike

Well its the New Year! That means I need to make a decision. Can I get fit or will my injury rule me out of this year’s Tour De Cure? Well I got on the bike and turned the legs over for about half an hour and it felt ok! My hopes have started to raise again that I can make it to the start line!

WHY WHY did I find 10kg over winter

I do it every year, vow to reform my ways after Tour has finished but then fall off the wagon ! Leading up to Tour each year we do a lot of training, its nothing to use thousands of calories on a long ride so that means that you can virtually eat what you like and still lose weight from around your middle. But …………………… when Tour is over I …Read more
